NIS Mining Advisory is a strategic mining advisory firm providing high-level technical and operational governance expertise to mining companies globally. NIS combines Tier-1 operational discipline with independent, objective advisory clarity.

The firm is founded and led by Ä°smail Önder Özen, a Chartered Mining Engineer with over 20 years of international experience across Australia, Canada, Papua New Guinea, Türkiye, and the United States. He has held Mine Operations Manager, Technical Services Manager, and Principal Advisor roles with Tier-1 mining operators.

He is a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in Ontario and British Columbia - Canada and Registered Professional Engineer (RPEQ) in Queensland - Australia. He brings globally-recognized authority in reserve reporting, Life-of-Mine planning, and technical and operational governance.

He maintains professional affiliations with CIM, MAusIMM (CP Mine), SME, and UCTEA.
